This Thursday May 19th, the AIA Colorado Emerging Professionals Forum will be held at the offices of Semple Brown. The event will begin with a networking and informational session at 5:30p followed by a Q&A forum about promoting and branding yourself and your firm from 7p-8p. I will be one of the panelists answering your questions about personal and professional marketing through the use of traditional and emerging media. Join AIA Colorado Emerging Professionals for the spring 2011 forum, “Media & Marketing: From One to Infinity,” on Thursday, May 19, from 5:30 – 8 p.m., at Semple Brown Design (1160 Santa Fe Dr., Denver, CO 80204).

The event features one-on-one portfolio reviews (only available for AIA Colorado members) and a panel discussion with local marketing professionals. The evening will begin with a networking cocktail hour as well as “stations” where attendees can receive information about licensure, continuing education, marketing, human resources and insurance. From 7 – 8 p.m., there will be a panel discussion and Q&A session about promoting and branding yourself and your firm through traditional and emerging media with four marketing professionals who work in the architectural industry.

The forum is geared toward newly licensed or soon-to-be licensed individuals, but everyone is welcome. Portfolio reviews are only available to AIA Colorado members, however.

Reservations are required and should be made to AIA Colorado Membership Coordinator Emily Ewing at 303.446.2266 or no later than 4 p.m. on Tuesday, May 17.
