Let’s Celebrate the Emerging Professionals!

It’s that time of year again –Starbucks is promoting their iced beverages, stores are clearing out winter coats and scarves to make room for shorts and swim wear, the Red Rocks summer concert schedule has been announced, and the days are getting longer.  All these signs hint that spring is just around the corner.  And with spring comes my favorite AIA Colorado event – YAAG ! The Young Architects Awards Gala (YAAG) is an event put on by the emerging professionals for the emerging professionals.  This event shines the spotlight on the talented emerging professionals in our communities by throwing a big party to celebrate the youth of our profession.

The 13th Annual AIA Colorado Young Architects Awards (YAAG) event will be held on Friday, April 20, 2012. This year’s event will honor students, interns and young architects by presenting them with a number of awards and scholarships.
